MINA Apostolidis opened her first boutique on December 2017, on Rue du Hameau 112a, in Rhode Saint Genese, Belgium, inviting us on a dream journey in chocolate. Her creations are mainly inspired by memories and aromas of her life in Greece, and the Middle East.
As her chocolates are different in shape and flavors than what is generally found in the market, she was chosen and invited to participate as a new talent at the 4th Salon du Chocolat (Feb.2017) in Brussels, Belgium.
MINA Handmade Chocolates will have a stand to present new creations of Apostolidis at the 5th edition of Salon du Chocolat, between 2-4 .3.2018, at Tour & Taxis in Brussels, Belgium.
Rosewater truffles, coffee and cardamom, homemade sour-cherry liqueur, mavrodaphne wine and dried fig, are some of her truffles - all with feminine names: “Layla” for rose water, “Athena” for the mavrodaphne and fig. There is also 'Shahrazad', the tahini praline with salted and caramelized almonds and her gianduias that have friends in young and old. The collection of “canapés” is a base of different dark chocolates covered with a variety of combinations of dried fruits and nuts are preferred by wine connoisseurs and health-conscious people. Her “Lasures” (fine leaves of milk or dark chocolate) worked as if an abstract drawing on a canvas, painted sometimes in gold, are frequently found at the openings of art events in Athens, Thessaloniki, Milano and Brussels.
All of MINA Handmade Chocolates are made after having chosen the finest of chocolates and a variety of premium ingredients, mainly from the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
